Chip Systems International
Chip Systems International, (CSI) is a privately held company located in southwestern Michigan that is continuously evolving according to a planned growth concept. CSI provides chip processing and cutting fluid management solutions for scrap metal recycling of aluminum, steel, and all other metals. Chip management includes chip shredding, washing, drying, and briquetting, along with conveyors, centrifuges, and furnace chargers. Cutting fluid management includes coolant supply, coolant filtration. Chip Systems International is not bottom-line driven. We are small enough to be accessible to our customers and large enough to provide outstanding product performance. For ultimate performance and reliability, CSI has developed the Novetek Process System that incorporates chip collection conveyors, centrifuges, briquetters, chip shredding, chip washing, chip drying, filtration, and mist collection.
Metal Scrap Recycling
Recycling aluminum, steel, and other metal scrap with chip processing equipment is highly specialized and requires responsive customer service coupled with the efficiency of a fully integrated company. It does not lend itself to the "off-the shelf" approach commonly found in large companies who are not solely dedicated to their customer’s metal scrap recycling needs. Extensive research and development is an integral part of Chip Systems International's objective of exploring improved methodology in metal scrap recycling.
Metal Chip Processing
Previously, chip processing equipment lacked the reliability required for demanding applications. Prior claims concentrated on chip wringer performance being the key to process success. This is absolutely untrue. The shredder and properly sized in-feed device decides whether a system succeeds or fails. The shredder is the key component since it must reliably prepare the scrap for subsequent centrifuging/wringing or briquetting. Chip Systems International provides a "BULLET PROOF" solution.
